As chairman of the Michigan Boating Industries Association, I’m pleased to inform you that a new association has been formed to unite the voices of Michigan boaters. The Boaters’ Association of Michigan (BAM) deserves your support as it will work to represent boaters in Lansing, preserve our waters and access to them and provide a number of cost-saving programs that will make your boating experience more fun and affordable than ever. I can assure you that we all look forward to the 2010 boating season with high hopes and great enthusiasm. We know an economic downturn cannot dampen our boating spirit, because we plan to be out on the water making even more memories than we did last year or the year before.
