Petoskey

In Petoskey, the 27th season of the free Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park Series will begin on June 17 and conclude at 7 p.m. Aug. 15. Concerts will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays in Pennsylvania Park.
Jazz, modern, classical and modern folk and children’s stories will be among the musical selections presented during 27 concerts, staged by popular performers including the New Epsilon Jass Band, Jelly Roll Blues Band and Sean Ryan.
The series is known as the Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park, in memory of the woman who worked tirelessly for nearly 20 years to bring music to Petoskey. Ross Lee died in March 2000. In the event of rain, the concerts are held up the block at the First Presbyterian Church.

 Harbor Springs

In Harbor Springs, the chamber of commerce will again sponsor evenings of entertainment called Street Musique each Thursday, from July 5-Aug. 2 throughout the downtown. This the fifth season for the popular program.

 Charlevoix

In Charlevoix, concerts are held in  East Park at 7 p.m. each Tuesday, beginning June 15 and running through the end of August.

 Boyne City

In Boyne City, it’s Music at the Gazebo, 7 p.m. Wednesdays, in Old City Park. The entertainment starts in mid-June and runs through August. Also Stroll the Streets starts 6-9 p.m. June 27 and features live entertainment downtown every Friday through Aug. 29.

 Bay View

North America’s oldest chamber music festival will return this year to the Victorian setting of Bay View.
The Bay View Music Festival’s 2008 offerings will begin Sunday, June 15, and conclude Aug. 10.
Tickets to all Bay View Music Festival concerts may be ordered online at www.bayviewassociation.org, or by calling (800) 595-4849, and those who wish may  purchase tickets at the Bay View Ticket Box Office beginning June 16, from 9:30 a.m.-noon, Monday through Saturday. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Ticket Box Office at 347-9551.
